2016-2017 Visitor Survey

Have you visited Northeast Iowa recently?

Are you a Northeast Iowa resident that recently explored a new corner of our region?

If so, you are invited to participate in the Northeast Iowa Visitor Survey!

The Northeast Iowa Regional Art and Cultural Council implemented a Visitor Survey.  The answers helped us understand who visits Northeast Iowa and why, the economic impact of visitors, and was an opportunity to give feedback on sites and events throughout the region.  We were particularly interested in hearing about the art, history, and cultural sites and events visited or attended.  Through the survey, we gathered regional-specific data and insights about history, art, and culture and attached metrics to the Council’s goals and priorities.  All answers were anonymous and were kept confidential.

The Visitor Survey is currently closed.  Please see the exciting results below!

The survey was available in the form of 4×6 survey cards at various locations within the 7-county Northeast Iowa Region from September 2016 through July 2017.  It was also available online and was shared by many partners as a web link or embedded survey form.  Thank you to all of the partners who helped distribute and collect the surveys at their location!

More information about the survey project can be found in the Survey Info Sheet. Or, please Contact Us for detailed information about the survey project or the results.

Support for the Visitor Survey is provided by the Iowa Arts Council, a division of the Iowa Department of Cultural Affairs, and the National Endowment for the Arts.
